Three Minute Self Healing Meditation
Find a place where you can do this meditation undisturbed. Sit in a comfortable chair or lie down. Quiet yourself and let your body unwind .Slowly inhale and exhale. Your breath will bring you back to center.
Gently place your hand over your heart Chakra in the mid chest. Then to activate positive energy in this area focus on whatever makes you feel love. This could be an image of a person or an animal companion whom you love or perhaps a pleasant memory from the past. Relax and allow the heart energy to permeate you..
Now feel into your body and emotions. Notice what you are feeling. Do you feel physical pain or discomfort? Do your muscles feel tense? Do you feel tightness in the throat, heart, or stomach? Ask yourself where you are in need of loving attention. Once you have fully scanned your body and emotions, send your heart energy to the places in need. Breathe in through your heart, and breathe out to the places that need your heart energy. Don’t strain. Just let it flow!
When you feel ready, take a few deep breaths and recollect your energy. Open your eyes and return to the room you are in. Move forward with your day and try not to fixate on outcomes. Whether your zest returns or a symptom remits, trust your body’s response. Do this meditation daily or as many times as possible throughout your week.
